You never know what you've got till it's gone...
It's official. Gilbert, the fish, is dead. He died while we were at Bible study last night. Beth's pretty upset, or at least she was last night. In a strange way, I actually do feel sad. I knew I kept saying that I wanted it to die and all, but he was like a sort of security blanket...the last thing we had to symbolize this last summer. And now he's dead. And I feel bad.

On a happier note, Melanie came to Bible study last night...said she really liked it. It was fun to go through my sister's house with her and talk about things we remember about each other in that house like 9-10 years ago. Felt like little kids again by sliding down the stairs:).

Due to complaints from an anonymous 16 year old sister of mine, I will not be posting pictures from Waxahachie.

In January, two friends that I have known for 5 years are moving. I thought I had it bad when I had to move back from Hawaii 5 years ago, after being there 2 1/2 years. Try leaving 14 years behind. I can't imagine....

My dad gets home tomorrow from Hawaii, then has to leave again on Monday for Las Vegas on yet another business trip.

<----in m opinion, this is one of the best pictures in the world. This was the beginning of spring, and we were on the way from Laser Quest to go eat somewhere. Yep. Fun times.

Okay, I have to get ready for drama, I love each and every one of you!

If I am not mistaken, the opening lines are from "Where'd You Go?" by Fort Minor, correct? If so, I think that if you sang that entire song to Gilbert, it might not be such a bad day. "Where'd you go? I miss you so. Seems like it's been forever, that you've been gone."

to be completely honest, I did not know that that line was from 'where'd you go?' but i think you're right. I can play that song on the piano though! it's just 3 ntoes over and over.

and i'm sorry i couldn't come down to see you last weekend!
