and the world spins madly on
I'm such a bad blogger! I need to break this habit.

Not much has been going on around here, just alot of school, oh, I'm sort of kind of failing chemistry. Which makes me sad some days, and other days, I really try and look at the big picture, because it's not like I need anything I learn in chemistry to be a Theatre or Music (or both) major in college. Still, it would be nice to pass it.

I got to help CSDC earlier this month with their production of Babes in Toyland, and that was fantastic. I, of course, was immediately busy with hair and makeup and costume repairs. :)

I wish there wasn't quite so much drama with all of my friends. Ahhh it gets to me sometimes. :) "I wish we could all get along like we did in middle school. I wish I could bake a cake made of rainbows and smiles and we'd all have a piece." Haha. It's just that some people need to take some things more seriously, and take some other things not quite so seriously.

I miss A Century of Broadway more than words can describe.......

I was contemplating the other day that my taste in music has drastically changed since this time last year. I listen to next to no hard rock anymore--among the exceptions is Red Hot Chili Peppers, because they're just so fun! I'm mainly indie pop/folkrock/blues now. The Ditty Bops, Tegan and Sarah, Eisley, The Weepies, The Fray, Death Cab For Cutie, A Fine Frenzy, Feist, Sufjan Stevens, Colbie Caillat, Ben Folds, etc....are all more to my liking now. Nathan is a bit peeved with me about some of my choices. :) But some, he agrees with.

Piano is coming along very well, I'm playing O Come, All Ye Faithful with orchestrational accompanyment for Christmas...it sounds really cool!

Ahh musical theatre...will I ever get enough of you?

I took a quiz "What character from a Broadway musical are you?" And I am Millie from Thoroughly Modern Millie. Your thoughts?

I'm so excited about the new Sweeney Todd movie, you don't even know.

August Rush is fantastic. Everyone should see it, and love it.

That's all...I'm going to bed, because I have to get up early for getting braces off tomorrow! Joyness!

"Why can't little kids tie their shoes?
And why can't the white people play the blues?"

  • If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended, That you have but slumber’d here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yielding but a dream, Gentles, do not reprehend: if you pardon, we will mend: And, as I am an honest Puck, If we have unearned luck Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue, We will make amends ere long; Else the Puck a liar call; So, good night unto you all. Give me your hands, if we be friends, And Robin shall restore amends.

  • Say what you mean, mean what you say
my vision is as simple as light
couldn't stay all my life down at heel
all i can taste is this moment
    life's like a jump rope
all's well at the base of the hill
make it simple, to last your whole life long
step by step He leads me
Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;Bear pa...
    nothing's gonna change my world
    all you need is love
