I thought that you'd want what I want...sorry, my dear
A Midsummer Night's Dream was last night. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
I don't know why, but my name was on the front of the program along with Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Ripps, and Mr. Lamphier. I was credited as 'hair and makeup.' Yeah um I did the little kids' hair and helped the high schoolers a little bit and applied some glitter. I did hardly any makeup. But doing all the kids hair turned out to be really stressful. I guess I should be able to be in more than one place at a time.
"Mrs Ripps, I can't curl my own hair!"
"Well where's Shelley???? She's supposed to do it!"
"I'm helping Melanie with her glitter!!!!!"

"Shelley's supposed to be doing Claire's hair! We're running out of time!"
"I'm still working on Britney's hair! It takes a long time!"

And so forth. I don't like people yelling at me. And alot of people were yelling at me. But that's what I get for volunteering :). I ran around alot, thus causing my fashitis ridden foot to hurt extremely.
After the play was over I helped take down the makeup/hair room. That took a while. I'm not a good organizer so all the hair stuff was all over the place. Someday I'm going to ask if I can just go into the shed and catalogue it all. That would make things so much simpler. I never realized during the Radio play what the hair people have to deal with.

But it wasn't all bad. Haha Daniel sprayed all my hair pink with the colored hairspray. That was pretty funny. Then we went to TGI Fridays because we're all sick of IHOP. Then Beth and I went to Melanie's house and spent the night...then CJ brought us home.

I love my friends. Oh so much. I hope they know that. I know for a fact that I got really snappy last night. I don't like that. I'm sorry.

Pictures soon to follow.

I love you guys like crazy,

Sassie

  • If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended, That you have but slumber’d here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yielding but a dream, Gentles, do not reprehend: if you pardon, we will mend: And, as I am an honest Puck, If we have unearned luck Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue, We will make amends ere long; Else the Puck a liar call; So, good night unto you all. Give me your hands, if we be friends, And Robin shall restore amends.

  • Say what you mean, mean what you say
and when I close my eyes you'll be right by my sid...
To go against conscience is neither right nor safe...
you will be home with me once upon a December...
    Won't you save me?
The Good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn ...
    No Good Deed
    fully alive...
tap on my window, knock on my door
from your lips she drew a hallelujiah
And nobody in all of Oz is ever gonna bring me down
