careful the wish you make
It has been 101 days since the end of A Century of Broadway.
But actually, it hasn't ended quite yet. After the play, there was the assisted living home performance, the conservatory showcase, the last day of drama, the awards ceremony, and various other things. It won't really end until the Premiere. That makes me so sad. But it couldn't last forever.
It was beautiful.

if life were only moments, then you'd never know you had one
I blog way less frequently than I used to.
So since the last time I blogged:
Went to see Hairspray!!! That was such an awesome movie. I absolutely love it. Then after that, Girls Night Out at la Madeleine!!!!!!!! I had so much fun. The tiramisu there is heavenly.
Attempted trip to see Into the Woods!!!!!! Didn't quite work out...they were sold out, so we played Manhunt in Wal*Mart then watched School of Rock!! Very enjoyable.
End of the summer part in Hondo!!!!! Except for the fact that I sprained my wrist playing football, it was a TON of fun!
The REAL trip to see Into the Woods!!!!!! Well, after getting lost 5--no, 6 times in New Braunfels, we made it to the theatre and saw Into the Woods...it was AMAZING! I'm so glad we went. Then to Jim's at midnight.
Well that's all the interesting stuff I think....still excited about the Premiere....still sad about the seniors leaving....still dreading the coming school year with everything that's in me....you know, the usual.
*Muuuuaaaaaahhhhhh*
"When you're way up high and you look below
At the world you've left and the things you've known
Just one little look is enough to show you
Just how small you are"

you'll never know, dear, how much I love you
So we've been back in TX now for 4 days. It all looks so flat compared to the Rockies. :P
I'm actually finally getting cracking on setting my room the way I want it. I have a picure *wink wink*, dried roses, curtains, sconces, and 3 signs to hang. I really love signs. This is my collection:
"I hope you dance"
"Sing like nobody is listening"
"IMAGINE"
the last two I picked up in Red River. Too good to pass up in my mind.
Red River was a blast. I love my family (even if they gave me even more of a southern twang than I--allegedly--already have). Got to do all sorts of fun stuff...sleep in...watch America's Next Top Model marathons...eat junk food...oh--wait, don't we do that here??? Okay nevermind. We did other stuff, too, I swear! As soon as I get around to putting all mom's pics on my photobucket, I'll start posting them on here, or you'll be able to see them all on facebook. Trust me. Between me, Nate, CJ, and Annie, we'll put up about 500 something on facebook.
I think I've decided on "Memory" for the recital on August. I love love love Send in the Clowns, but that version doesn't sound right without vocals with it. Memory, on the other hand, can stand alone as just a beautiful piece of music.
And I'm really enjoying playing My Favorite Things...getting it ready for WML and all....
I miss Annie and Caleb and Erin. I miss Erin singing Little Einsteins over and over and over again in the car and claiming all the mountains as her own.
I'm so excited about the Premiere, you don't even know. I just REALLY hope we don't do it in the movie room. Last year, we *just barely* all fit. This year, no way. I'm thinking the auditorium or the drama room.
Alright, I'm going shopping now. Love yall!
"We're going on a trip
In our favorite rocket ship
Zooming through the sky
Little Einsteins
Climb aboard
Get ready to explore
There's so much to find
Little Einsteins
Come on! Let's go!
Little Einsteins
We need you!
Little Einsteins
Yeah!"

with ten miles behind me, and ten thousand more to go...
You don't even know how excited I am about Red River. We leave in a few hours to head up to fort worth, spend the night, and make the 20 hour drive to New Mexico. Hmmmmm.
This is my hypothetical CD of "Most Beautiful Songs Ever Written":
1. Places I Remember - The Beatles
2. Brightly Wound - Eisley
3. Come What May - Moulin Rouge soundtrack
4. You'll Be In My Heart - Phil Collins
5. God is God - Steven Curtis Chapman
6. Hello - Evanescence
7. Into the West - Annie Lennox
8. Miracle of Miracles - Fiddler on the Roof soundtrack
9. Sweet Baby James - James Taylor
10. What a Wonderful World - Louie Armstrong
11. My Father's Gun - Elton John
12. Be Careful - Patty Griffin
13. Piano Man - Billy Joel
14. Zoe Jane - Staind
15. Shoot the Moon - Norah Jones
16. Elijah - Rich Mullins
17.For Good - Wicked soundtrack
18. Horse With No Name - America
Your thoughts?
I suggest that if there are songs on that list that you have never heard before, go look them up. They're all on there for good reason.
I'll miss all yall! *muuuaaahhhh*
"All will turn to silver glass
A light on the water also's past
Hope fades into the world of night
Through shadows falling out of memory and time"
