With the exception of Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Animated Feature, I was impressed with the Oscars this year. As much as I love ALL of the songs nominated for Best Song, none of them deserved it over Falling Slowly. Goodness gracious, I was nearly in tears watching Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova walk up to the podium to take their award for a film they shot with two handicams in 17 days.
