here's a song for you, lovely
I haven't blogged in a while, and so much has happened!

Of course the best of which being that Kristen and Annie came down with their youngest last weekend. There's nothing quite as exciting as having all of your brothers and sisters around at the same time. Liam and Judah are the best baby nephews ever. We had a really great time. So of course we took tons of crazy, strange, awkward, and fantastic pictures.

Next, I helped CSDC with their huge spring production, Peter Pan and Wendy. It was like old times...being there every day for so many hours. I was in charge of hair. You wanna know how long it takes to get 30 kids into hairstyles and/or wigs? Or how hard it is to make those adorable girls look like lost boys? The play went splendidly. Every cast member was excellent. So of course I took pictures of all this, as well. :)

Bethany was my fellow stylist, in charge of makeup.

Starky, Captain Hook, and Smee think something is interesting

I love her the best

Hannah and Andrea, the best techs ever!

Rachel is the best Peter Pan I've ever seen...quite seriously

The darling Darlings

They were both excellent

Yay be excited!

Nana, Never Bird, and Crocodile

Captain Hook/Mr. Darling is WAY psyched!

In other news, do you know what today is? Today is the one year anniversary of the day we closed A Century of Broadway. It seems so strange that it's been a year. So much has happened, but it doesn't feel like that long.

That was then

This is now

I suppose that is all for now. I should really update more often. My love to everyone!

happiness
Happiness is finding a pencil
Pizza with sausage
Telling the time

Happiness is learning to whisle
Tying your shoe for the very first time

Happiness is playing the drum in your own school band
And happiness is walking hand in hand

Happiness is two kinds of ice cream
Knowing a secret
Climbing a tree

Happiness is five different crayons
Catching a firefly, setting him free

Happiness is being alone every now and then
And happiness is coming home again

Happiness is morning and evening
Daytime and nighttime too
For happiness is anyone and anything at all
That's loved by you

Happiness is having a sister
Sharing a sandwich
Getting along

Happiness is singing together when day is through
And happiness is those who sing with you

Happiness is morning and evening
Daytime and nighttime too

For happiness is anyone and anything at all
That's loved by you.

~You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

The innocent things that make us happy are usually the best things.

  • If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended, That you have but slumber’d here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yielding but a dream, Gentles, do not reprehend: if you pardon, we will mend: And, as I am an honest Puck, If we have unearned luck Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue, We will make amends ere long; Else the Puck a liar call; So, good night unto you all. Give me your hands, if we be friends, And Robin shall restore amends.

  • Say what you mean, mean what you say
my vision is as simple as light
couldn't stay all my life down at heel
all i can taste is this moment
    life's like a jump rope
all's well at the base of the hill
make it simple, to last your whole life long
step by step He leads me
Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;Bear pa...
    nothing's gonna change my world
    all you need is love
