I wish...for a moment...you could blow me a kiss...
I don't think there are suitable words for how I feel right now.
I'm sitting at the computer chair, in my good-for-all-situations hoodie, even though it's warm in here.
I'm not happy, but I'm not unhappy.
I'm not anxious, but I keep thinking something's going to happen.
I'm not tired, but I want to go back to sleep.
I want to do something, but I don't want to be too busy.
Is there a name for this sort of mood?
Today is the parents' orientation meeting for the Conservatory, where we will be taking drama. My mom is going, and my sister Aubrey is going because her kids are now in Tae Kwon Do. So Beth, Tim, Caleb, and I are going over to her house to watch her 6 kids.
I feel like I'm entering a new chapter in my life. Like I've reached a milestone. But I'm not sure what the milestone is. I just feel like it's there, and I've either past it already, or am about to pass it.
I'm full of random thoughts today...well, more than other days. Like:
Whoever said that black and brown can't be worn together?
If lions live in the savannah, why are they called the king of the jungle?
What is plastic anyway?
Moreover, why are people allergic to plastic??
Why do some people hate having their picture taken?
What's the point of an autograph if you already know someone's name?
Why do parents always tell their little kids not to blow bubbles in their chocolate milk? Why is it different from any other drink?
Okay, that's enough of that:)
My song for the day is "Long Ride Home" which you will see at the end of this post. Totally unrelated to today I suppose, but oh well. That's the song I picked.
Love,
Susanna
Long black limousine
Shiniest car I've ever seen
The back seat is nice and clean
She rides as quiet as a dream
Someone dug a hole six long feet in the ground
I said goodbye to you and I threw my roses down
Ain't nothing left at all in the end of being proud
With me riding in this car, and you flying through them clouds
I've had some time to think about you
And watch the sun sink like a stone
I've had some time to think about you
On the long ride home
One day I took your tiny hand
Put your finger in the wedding band
Your daddy gave a piece of land
We laid ourselves the best of plans
Forty years go by with someone laying in your bed
Forty years of things you say you wish you'd never said
How hard would it have been to say some kinder words instead
I wonder as I stare up at the sky turning red
I've had some time to think about you
And watch the sun sink like a stone
I've had some time to think about you
On the long ride home
Headlights staring at the driveway
The house is dark as it can be
I go inside and all is silentI
t seems as empty as the inside of me
I've had some time to think about you
And watch the sun sink like a stone
I've had some time to think about you
On the long, on the long
Oh the long, on the long
On the long ride home

awww! we were just getting started with the Princess Bride quotes! ;)
i can only answer one of your questions...people that don't like getting their picture taken are like that 'cause they are insecure about the way they look, therefore they don't want to have pictures of them that remind them and others of how they look. does that answer your question? ok, gtg do school! ttyl!

"true love is the best thing in the entire world- except for a nice MLT(mutton, lettuce, and tomato) when the mutton is nice and lean..."
"This is a noble cause, sir! His wife, crippled, children half-starved to death."
"Ya know you're a rotten liar."
"i need this man to help me avenge my father: dead this past twenty years!!"
"your first story was better!"
hey, did you get the pictures? i sent them this morning.
"Mawwrige! mawwrige is wat bwrings us togedda today! that bwessed awrangement, that dwream withsin a dwream!"
"And wuve, twrue wuve!"
~Wuve you! ;)
haha yeah i got the pictures:) thank you muchly:D
"Now, being honest, how do you feel?"
*whimpers*
"Interesting...."
you are welcome muchly! ;)
"Bye! BYE!! Have fun storming the castle!"
"think it'll work?"
"it would take a miracle!"
"Bye-bye! Bye..."
I think it's somewhere between restlessness and content settleing in. I've become quite a good friend with that feeling over this past year.
"I fear that I will never see you again."
" Now hear this, I will always come for you."
"But, what if something should happen to you?"
"Shh. Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for awhile."
hmmm...that's a good way of describing that feeling.
"she is alive!...or was an hour ago. if she is otherwise, when i find her...i shall be very put out!"
hmmm.... i think lions live in the Sahara, not the Savannah. good try, though.
that's what I meant to say...
RRRIIIGHTT!!
of course that's what you meant to say! you just typed a wrong letter...or two....or four. ;)
"on the night of my wedding, i want the thieves forest emptied! my princess MUST be safe!"
"emptying the thieves forest will not be easy, sire. many of them will resist and they could give us trouble!"
"then give THEM some trouble!"
"It's not that bad...Well, I'm not saying I would like to build a summerhome here but the trees are actually quite lovely."
ben! no! that one doesn't count! i already used it on my last post. better luck next time.
Can I say that as far as my information goes... I have never heard of a lion in the Sahara Desert, and I thought in the Lion King, they were trapsing around in Savannah / grasslands. But, I dont know.
For some reason, Choc. Milk is the bubble maker of choice for most. I think because it makes the best sound (and coolest bubbles). But, it's not like I've run scientific tests or anything (too much, that is).
"I'll call the Brute Squad"
"I'm ON the Brute Squad!"
"...You ARE the Brute Squad."
I have to say, i'm inclined to agree with you, Ali.
"Ooh, look who knows so much! It just so happens that your friend here is only mostly dead. When they're all dead, there's only one thing you can do. Dig through his pockets and look for loose change."
yeah ben, keep up with the posts! ;)
"SOMEONE ahs defeated a giant!...there shall be great suffering in Gilder when i find her..."
"he can track a hawk on a cloudy day; he can find YOU!"
oh ho ho! india! YOU messed up!
it's "There will be great suffering in Gilder IF SHE DIES..." so now we're even.
yeah, i saw that after i posted it and i wondered if you would catch it. good job!
"your in ze pit of despare*wheez*. don't even thi*cough*...*wheez, cough,cough*...don't even think about trying to escape!"
i just reread your description of your mood and i think what could help would be to get a good hobbie that isn't physically exerting, that you are good at, that you enjoy, and that is peaceful. Then whenever your in that mood just do your hobbie! it'll help. some suggestions would be painting, drawing, any type of needlework, reading(my prsonal favorite;)), scrapbooking, etc. you know, fun stuff! ttyl!
~Love
P.S. you know my suggestion for some great books would be the A.D. Chronicles! or any of the other books written by Brock and Bodie Thoene! :)
"Help him!"
"why does Westley need help?"
"because he lacks the strength to stand"
" i knew it! i knew he was...i knew he was blufffing!"
hmm, did you take down that latest post so you could remove the at-the-breakfast-table-picture? ;)
no, cause i accidentally posted it. i wan't planning on posting that entry yet, but when I do, that picture will be up there cause it's the only one of all of us. still love you though!
grrrr.....
Hey, the Theones? I love them (and all their books!). I acctaully met them on my birthday 2 years ago.
ya, i'm a readoholic, too.
you got to meet the Thoenes!!! Lucky!! have you read the Shiloh Legacy Series? that's how i got hooked on them, my dad started reading taht series to us as a family years ago and i've been a huge fan ever since!
readaholics unite!! ;)
Alright then,
"Where are you going?"
"To find the Man in Black."
"But you don't know where he is."
"Don't trouble me with trifles. At last my father's soul will be at peace. There will be blood tonight!"
And...
"See! I knew it."
"Yes, yes, you're very smart. Shut up."
And...
"Are ready?"
"Whether I am or not, you have been more than fair."
"You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you."
"You seem a decent fellow; I hate to die."
And yes, there are others...
...such as
" I suppose you think you're brave, don't you?"
"Only compared to some."
"Is this a kissing book?"
Lions live in the savannah, not the Sahara desert. You're embarassing me, Annie. And the rest of you girls are sillier than putty.
No, we're not sillier than puddy, we just have nothing better to do than quote classic movie lines. There's a BIG difference...
i know exactly the mood you're talking about lol seems im in that more often that not :P love ya!
