She slammed the door and said 'I'm sorry...'
...I had a bad day again.

Yeah. Yesterday was just one-of-those-days. Almost everything went wrong. I didn't get enough sleep so my head hurt in the morning, I didn't understand most of my algebra, I was distracted while I did my reading, ate Sonic for lunch (that wasn't bad), had to make cornbread and oatmeal cookies for Family Dinner Night at the Russells, got about half way through that and realized that we didn't have any eggs. I needed 7. So I had to pack up everything I had already mixed up and haul it over to Aubrey's where she kindly let me bake it all there, thought that would be the end of my bad day...and it wasn't. While the cornbread was in the oven, I realized that I had completely left out the sugar. All of it. Decided not to tell anyone just in case they didn't realize it. They did. I was about ready to cry. Went from the Russells' to go see a really terrible movie called "All the King's Men." I hated it. Came home and hit my head on my door because I thought it was open and it wasn't. So yeah. That was my day.

The one spot in my day that I did like was precious. Right before dinner, Joshua (6) prayed for the food. After the usual 'thank you for this day, etc.' he said "...And please help Emily and Michelle to be safe..." That made me smile.

Today, so far, has not been so bad. Bible study tonight. It's at the Cohoons' house.

Alright, I'm gonna go clean the powder room. I love all you guys!

  • If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended, That you have but slumber’d here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yielding but a dream, Gentles, do not reprehend: if you pardon, we will mend: And, as I am an honest Puck, If we have unearned luck Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue, We will make amends ere long; Else the Puck a liar call; So, good night unto you all. Give me your hands, if we be friends, And Robin shall restore amends.

  • Say what you mean, mean what you say
Without the mask, where will you hide...
    50 thousand tears I've cried...
Did I show you this picture of my nephew...
You never know what you've got till it's gone...
Oh, what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful ...
Seeing through a hole in time...
    A smile says it all...
'Cause I'm a trainwreck waiting to happen...
I followed a rabbit through rows of mermaid-entwin...
Tragedy, when the moment's gone, and you can't go ...
