I think a face is dawning
I am so unbelievably tired. CJ, Beth, and I stayed up ALL night, because sis had another EEG this morning, and it was supposed to test her brain waves when they're excited...or something like that. So she wasn't allowed to sleep before the test. So we stayed up all night, ate a ton of junk food (seriously, there's a mountian load), and watched Season 2 of House. Aubrey stayed for part of it, but left around 11 or so. When I FINALLY couldn't keep my eyes open even if my life depended on it, I went upstairs to my room, and slept harder than I think I ever have. I got a good 3 1/2 hours in though (5:00-8:30). So I then had to get up and do math and literature. *starts singing It's a Hard Knock Life* So now that I'm done writing my draft for my paper, I'll probably go sleep for a long time.
Confession: (I know this is kind of late in coming, but I'm gonna say it anyway.) I still cannot believe that I'm playing Glinda. Way before Wicked was even an apple in Steven Schwartz's eye, Glinda was my hero, and Wizard of Oz was my best friend. Several months ago, when I first found out, after my initial scream, I almost couldn't breathe, trying to make sure I didn't wake up and ruin it all. It was too good. Too perfect. So, now that I've rehearsed it countless times with one of my dearest friends (who I can't imagine doing it without, and am so blessed to be doing it with), and I know it's real, not a day goes by when I don't thank God countless times for it.
Okay, enough of that. :)
Until a couple nights ago, I guess I had forgotten exactly how much I loved Fiddler on the Roof...and exactly how much the second half makes me cry. It's such a beautiful story, and a sad one. My favorite character has always been Motel. :) My sisters and mother will holler when I say this, but I honestly still can't watch Fruma Sarah rise from the grave. I look away momentarily and look back when she's already singing to Tevye. When I was younger, I would shriek and run from the room all the way upstairs during the dream scene. I am THAT good.
Sleep is a wonderful thing, and I'm going to go take advantage of it.
Love yall! *muuaaaahhh*

lol and dont feel bad about the dream scene in FOTF. I was the same way with the Marly and Marly scene in Muppet Christmas Carol.
*gasp* Shelley can match Kristen Chenoweth, when did this happen?
And Steven SHCARWTZ did Wicked, not Stephen Sondhiem.
